Hand held whisk rendering

FIRST HOUR

We were given a sheet to practice our marker rendering skills. These handheld objects were drawn for us.

The colour appliance of this workpiece in my first hour was quite a mess because I messed up by applying the colour to the place I don't want it to be at.

On the part farther from the light (shadow) I added more layers of marker to create more depth and make it looks more 3D and realistic.

FINISH

This is my progress on the second hour which I was quite satisfied with myself because I was able to finish it in that amount of time.

I used varieties of colours to explore the usage of colour and which colour looks good and which colour I do not want to use in my future work.

After applying the colour, I started using the soft black pencil to create even more depth in the object. ( Focused on the place where no light will reach)

I have sometimes left so I decided to add shadow in the background to create a pop-off effect to the object using a cool gray alcohol base marker.
