Kettle Fine line and rendering

1.)  We were given a new sheet to practice our marker rendering and fine-lining skills. The blue pencil has already been done for us.

I'm not very happy with my work in the first hour as it didn't go as well as I thought I would be able to do. There are a lot of wiggly lines and mistakes because my hand wasn't stable. The fine-line pens were quite hard for me to work with since it's permanent and can't be erased.

2.) In the second hour I started adding colours using the alcohol base marker pen from Copic.

I think I started off really well with the colouring but I end up messing up really bad when I start adding shadows with the soft black pencil. I added too much shadows and it end up being too dark. It looks a mess.

I focused on using cool tone colour for this piece of work.

3.) In the third hour I completed this piece of work. To be honest I think it looks better than what I thought it would end up being.

I'm quite proud of the triangular shape one because I think it looks the best and I really like the colour combination between blue and orange.
