During Week 5, there was a dedicated period for in-depth reflection on the research and project direction. This contemplative process led to a further refinement of the research question, pinpointing the area of investigation with greater precision. Additionally, the week was utilized for preparing the upcoming development portfolio.

HOW MIGHT WE CULTIVATE EMERGING PRACTICES THROUGH THE CO-CREATION OF VALUE-BASED LEARNING MATERIALS?

After reflecting on and assimilating insights garnered from the diverse creative practices employed in the participatory design research activity, the refined research question marks a discernible shift in focus. This realignment places a heightened emphasis on nurturing innovation within emerging practices through the collaborative development of the creative toolkit.

This toolkit, in turn, equips educators to foster richer and more purposeful dialogues, empower their agency, craft focused strategies, ultimately steering towards desired outcomes - the creation of personalized value-based learning materials.

WHAT WILL I BE DESIGNING?

I am designing a creative toolkit that harnesses co-creation for the development of value-based learning materials, aiming to nurture emerging practices.

This toolkit synergizes innovation, collaboration, and education, thus enabling the exploration and refinement of unorthodox creative methods within the sphere of value-centered education. In this creative toolkit, I have conceptualized a range of purpose-driven tools and activities that harmonize with my objective. These components are neatly categorized into three distinct sections, the toolkit guide, the sticker pack, and the mix and match tools.
