Completing the Syllabus - with or without Metasyllabus -
When finishing the edition of the syllabus please click the button Send the syllabus, located at the top of the page.
If any information is missing, an informative pop up will be displayed and the name of the section will turn red to indicate you must correct it. As for instance, the Professor Bio.
Remember all the sections must be completed to be able to send the syllabus.
You won't be able to make any changes to the syllabus after sending it.
Once the syllabus is sent, the status will change from Professor to Coordinator/Area Director or Program Manager and you will receive a confirmation email informing that the syllabus has been sent.
The syllabus will be revised and either accepted to pass the next status or rejected, in wich case the responsable will indicate reason for the rejection and the new deadline to implement the necessary changes prior to continue with the process. You will receive an email notification.
META TIP
In the case of a syllabus that comes from Metasyllabus, if there are discrepancies with the Metasyllabus proposals, when sending the syllabus, a message will appear to either review the sections that differ or to justify the change.
Your syllabus will be publicated and visible for the student when the Documentation Department approves it.
