The schedule was also altered to reflect that of a World Cup-styled-tournament. Four divisions with four teams were created. Each team played the other three teams in their division twice each. The top two teams advanced to an eight-team, three-week playoff.
Each division winner was matched up against the runner-up from the opposite seeded division.

Due to the COVID-19 virus impacting MLB's start date for the 2020 season, the league decided to conduct a "fantasy fantasy" draft using the OOTP 20 computer simulation. Each member of the league drafted a full 26 man roster using differing rules. The season was then simulated and a champion was crowned.

(5) players born in the same month as the drafting manager
