On April 8, 2019, then former manager Eric Miele adamantly proclaimed that season was "JOHNNYS YEAR," (pictured below). Eric did not drop this claim and continued to recite this mantra throughout the course of the season. Even as John began the season at 3-6 and did not believe in his own team's chances, Eric continued to recruit more people to the "JOHNNYS YEAR" movement, even getting a whole room of Bucknell alumni to chant in John's favor. In the end, John finished the season by going 10-3 down the stretch, scorched into the playoffs, and fell just short in the Semi-Final round.
