The Innovation Lab is the product of a creative transformation of the traditional computer lab. It is one approach to meet the evolving educational needs of our students as it provides students with a dedicated space to explore, create, connect and develop digital literacy–cornerstone skills for college and career readiness. While the activities in the computer lab have traditionally served a purpose in terms of skill practice, research, and creation on computers, the Innovation Lab will be adding many low-tech and high-tech resources to aid students in creation, innovation, and discovery. It will also provide materials, flexible seating options, and furniture that will promote collaboration and hands-on project work.

Your Technology Integration Coach will be available to help you orient you to the Innovation Lab and to assist you in planning lessons that can utilize this space.

• Lego wall/table
• Recycled materials for Makerspace creations
• Makerspace workbenches & tools
• Green screen/recording studio
• Robots
