Padlet is a powerful, simple tool that can serve as a quick response system. It's like a digital bulletin board and can be an alternative to putting sticky notes on chart paper (display on your Smart Board). Students can collaborate and respond to a question. It's good for brainstorming and recording ideas. You can even collaborate with another classroom in the building or anywhere in the world.

What I love about Padlet is that it is so easy to use. Once I set up the account, I created the board, posted the activity code on the board and students don't have to do anything else to join.
One time I used Padlet with a class in Indiana. Both classes were reading the same book and we used it as a discussion board.
