Sure Start Program Eligibility

Sure Start’s first responsibility is to the four-year-old child, who turns four by September 1 of the enrolling school year, of a military or eligible Department of Defense (DoD) employee whose rank is Enlisted (E) E1-4; General Schedule (GS) GS1-4; or Non Appropriated Fund (NAF), NAF 1-2 rank equivalent at the date of application. (Note that the application date is not to exceed six months before the first day of the following school year).

Military Command Sponsored

• Original orders to Korea with dependents

• Pinpoint orders, AIP/extension orders (if applicable) or ERB/ ORB with

• DEROS date or Memorandum of record with DEROS date (if applicable)

• Command Sponsorship Orders (with H-#### showing USAG Humphreys as duty station)

Civilian (from State-Side) DoD or NAF

• PCS Orders

• Letter of Employment with dependent information, current DEROS and USAG Humphreys as duty station

Local Hire (Full-Time Civilian DoD or NAF)

• Current Personnel Action (SF-50 or DD3434)

• Letter of Employment listing dependent’s information and current DEROS
