What are the library’s rules and regulations?

• The Caloocan City Public Library is open to the public from Monday to Friday with the following library hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (no-noon break)

Below are the common rules that the general public must comply upon utilizing the CCPL: 

• Everybody is required to sign the logbook for attendance. However, only readers and researchers are allowed to enter the library. Non-library business is prohibited inside.

• Things are subject for inspection before leaving the library premises.

• Bags and other belongings must be deposited at the baggage area. Money, wallets and other important and personal belongings are allowed inside the reading rooms. Ballpen, pencil and papers must be taken in.

• All books and other library materials are for reading room use only. Borrowing or Lending books for outside use are not allowed (except for Fiction books).

• Only two (2) books/reference materials at a time can be borrowed by presenting any valid identification card (ID).

•  Smoking, talking, eating, littering and sleeping are strictly prohibited.

• Books and other library materials should be returned to their proper places.

• Orderliness and cleanliness must be observed.

• Library materials should be handled with care. Tampering, vandalism, theft and mutilation of library resources or materials will be punished accordingly.
