Ang Caloocan City Public Library ay nagsagawa ng Panitikanatics Booth bilang selebrasyon ng Buwan ng Panitikan na may temang 'Ang Panitikan at Kapayapaan'. Ang layunin ng temang ito ay ipaunawa sa ating mga kapwa Pilipino ang kahalagahan at kontribusyon ng Panitikan sa pamamagitan ng pagpapalaganap ng kapayapaan sa ating mahal na bansa.
Kabilang sa selebrasyon ng Pambansang Buwan ng Pamana 2024 na may temang 'Championing Heritage: Capacity Building to Transform Communities' nagbahagi ang CCPL ng maikling impormasyon tungkol sa isa sa mga kinikilalang pamana sa ating Lungsod: ang bantayog ni Andres Bonifacio.
It was launched last September 26, 2023 at Libis Talisay Elementary School with Prof. Arhzen S. Delos Reyes as our guest storyteller with Grade IV pupils as audience.
On September 27 and 29, 2023, Prof. Ruben Jeffrey A. Asuncion was our guest storyteller. He narrated the "History of Caloocan City" at the 5th Floor, Social Hall, University of Caloocan City with the coordination of UCC Students Association of Books and Library Advocates - South (SABLA) and University of Caloocan City.
The library launched the Book Drive on August 1, 2023, which lasted until August 30. CCPL donated to different Institutions, Barangays, and Schools as part of this program. The beneficiaries were: Babasahin sa Selda, PWD/SPED, and Barangay Reading Corners.

The Caloocan City Public Library gladly spearheads library programs, projects, and activities in support of its vision, mission, and core values. Moreover, Organization Capability Improvement Methodology (OCIM) participates in all the projects, programs, and activities of the current government that may be in need of the library's resources, or the manpower, skills, and talents of the library staff.
The following are the library programs, projects, or activities of the Caloocan City Public Library:
CCPL also holds monthly celebrations in observance of history, culture, and literacy development. Such events are:
● World Read-aloud Day (celebrated every February 3)
● Cityhood of Caloocan (celebrated every February 15)
● Public Library Day (celebrated every March 9)
● National Heroes Day (celebrated every April 9)
● Labor Day (celebrated every May 1)
● Mother’s Day (celebrated every 2nd Sunday of May)
● National Flag Day (celebrated every May 28)
● Independence Day (celebrated every June 12)
● Book Month (celebrated every January)
During these events, the CCPL sets up an informative display about the celebration in the library. Sometimes, the library staff conducts storytelling sessions in relation to the event’s theme. Activities and freebies such as bookmarks and informational pamphlets are given to attending library users.
