It is difficult to become a teacher, and at first, I didn't understand why I chose this path, but here I am, fighting for what I love. I can't deny that I still lack some characteristics of a good teacher; as an introverted person, I don't enjoy socializing or communicating with others, which makes it difficult for me to develop the speaking skills required of a teacher. However, I can say that being an introvert pushed me to step outside of my comfort zone. I enjoy doing arts, which is why I enjoy creating visual materials; I also enjoy organizing, which is why I enjoy teaching. Aside from those mentioned hobbies, I enjoy reading books and telling my younger cousins stories or lessons, which makes me enjoy interacting with children. As time passed, I rose to appreciate my journey, which allowed me to grow and flourish in my own unique way. Teaching, like learning, is a lifelong process that we educators will always bear in our mind.

19 years old

One of my hobbies is Volunteering even before. Volunteering has a special place in my heart because it helps me to make and build some relationships where in I will meet a diverse group of people with different strengths and ideas and that would be a great opportunity for me as an individual and of course as an educator. Not to mention but journaling is one of my hobbies too for the reason that this makes me more mindful and observant. Furthermore, I love how I capture every high and lows of my life through the art of words and letters.

Becoming an educator with a strong moral principle is what I want to become. Ever since I was a child, I used to love playing with my childhood friends portraying as a teacher. I enjoy sharing my insights, thoughts and opinions from many different things, I also love to share the different information I have learned from school; these are the memories I cherish from time to time when there are times that I want to give up. In terms of my hobbies, watching fantasy movies is what I usually enjoy it helps me escape from the harsh reality of life. I am the first born and only child of my mother and father but I do have 2 siblings from my mother, they are both in Highschool grade. Both of my parents are already gone to meet our Almighty being that’s why I live with my stepfather and my siblings. My relatives support me to accommodate my personal needs therefore it became my motivation to pursue my dream career.

An educator that touches the lives of the students is what I really want to become in the near future. But in order to become one, I started creating new hobbies that will help to improve myself better. When I am curious about some concepts or ideas, I really tend to do simple research about it. Then afterwards, I am sharing it with others as well. Aside from that, I also started to watch documentaries that will help me gain more life lessons that will surely have a great impact on my life and on how will I teach effectively in the future that will push me harder to do more and be better.

I am introverted by nature but I also somehow enjoy interacting with people, mainly because I believe they can share something I can learn and for me to understand their being. As an educator, this is vital to understand that we are not just teaching and the students learning from us, but we also learn from them. Knowing their background is necesarry to understand certain behaviors that were manifested in class as there's a story to tell. Equipping oneself to be an educator who doesn't just educate but also does listen and is continuously willing to learn for progress is an educator I aspire amongst students.
