Introduction of the lesson by showing videos that are related to
"Pakikilahok and Bolunterismo".
Ejay Rivera. (2020, April 27). Youth Volunteerism Amidst Covid 19 (Cinematic Video) [Video]. YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AbdVyViIgY
After watching the video, ask the students "What do you think is the lesson for today?, "How do you think the video is related to our topic for today?"
Afterward, the teacher will proceed on introducing the lesson entitled, "Pakikilahok at Bolunterismo". Define its meaning and the difference of the two terms.
Afterwards, the class will then answer another question, "During the pandemic, what are your experiences regarding the terms "Pakikilahok at Bolunterismo"?, "How does your community respond to the pandemic? "
"If we are going to compare our generation from before, are their any differences with the way people especially women volunteer?"
After asking their observations, the teacher will also make a comparison analysis of the role and rights of the female before and in today's generation.
The women are expected to be at home and take care of the family.
Women can't vote. (Walang karapatang makilahok ang kababaihan sa pagboto)
Most of the people believe that women are weak, they are expected to follow the decisions of their husbands.
Women can also work to provide for their family.
Women have already right to vote.
Women have the right to choose the best decisions for their life (e.g. Entering politics, joining different organizations that re related to volunteering and such)
The discussion will end with the phrases, "Volunteerism has nothing to do with our gender or even our ages, if you are able and willing to help, then everyone can do so. Let us not let any circumstances hinder us from doing the kind and right thing to do with others. Let's us be reminded of the sayings that, " We should always be blessing to one another. -Doc Z

STRATEGY
The classroom should be a place where students feel comfortable and a place where students are in control of the behaviors and choices they make. We, the educators, are the ones who are responsible for offering encouragement regularly as it builds supportive classroom management. To completely fulfill the needs of every student and manage a supportive classroom environment, educators should use different strategies. Strategies that will help us to establish, maintain, and facilitate a supportive learning environment.
Given the situation of Learners A and B, in preventative strategy response,
positive classroom climate should be cultivated for the reason that this will help and encourage students to be highly engaged in learning. Furthermore, it can also reduce the frequency and severity of disruptive and antisocial student behaviors in the classroom. To cultivate this kind of practice, we the teacher, should do atleast simple activity that can enhance their mood, just like “Write on me” activity. In this activity, they are going to write some positive affirmations to each and everyone so that the classroom will keep warm and respective if they are all in mood.
In connection with that, educators should also improve the emotional and social competence of every student because it also has an impact on the ability of every student to effectively and appropriately engage in every classroom and school activity. To scrutinize this kind of approach, before the class starts, we the educators may ask how are they, how their life was going, do atleast short “kumustahan”. According to Skiba et al. (2016), supporting the enhancement of emotional and social competence is also important for creating and maintaining positive classroom climates as it can impact how students interact with teachers and their peers. To support the development of social and emotional learning competence, a social and emotional learning (SEL) program is the way because SEL builds an early sense of purpose and self-confidence. It also creates a more equitable, positive learning environment that encourages further student engagement (Alyssa, 2020).
Along with that, we the educators, should add active supervision as one of our strategy. To observe this kind of strategy in a classroom, we the teachers should move, check, and scan the on and off-task of our students. This strategy will help to avoid, reduce, and lessen the incidents like learners A and B commotion.
STRATEGY
In a responsive strategy approach,
first and foremost, we the teacher should remain calm when we are providing a corrective response to the inappropriate behaviors of our students. We should not over react on the situation because it will not lead into something better. Hence, if we over react we it wil just feed their ego.
Thus, the most important responsive classroom management strategy is correcting inappropriate behaviors and it should be addressed most positively. We the teacher should callout the misbehaviour of our student so that they will not continue. Correcting inappropriate behavior will minimize distractions and maintain a positive classroom climate. If the teacher already corrects the improper behavior, he/she should also ensure that the students understand corrective responses. To fully establish, maintain, and facilitate supportive and positive classroom management, every teacher needs to identify the needs of their students.
Identifying student needs will help the teacher to understand his/her student why he/she is performing and behaving that way. The best way to identify our student needs is to put a so-called “freedom wall” in our classroom.
