Welcome to my Tech Apps page! This class is taught by Mr. Gonzalez. In this class we work on typing, keyboard shortcuts, and other things like Adobe Illustrator tools.
Below is my typing averages right now. The website we use to type is Typing.com. In Tech Apps we have had many typing test, and all of those tests and just typing practice have averaged to 26 WPM, 93% accuracy, and my typing time is 8:30 minutes.

Above is where I am on the class scoreboard. On the scoreboard there are two categories; there is one called "Fastest", and another called "Most Active". Above is the "Fastest" scoreboard. On the scoreboard I'm in 10th place with 38 WPM. For typing for 39:12 minutes, I think 96% accuracy is pretty good.
Other than typing, we do a lot more in Tech Apps. We have done many assignments with Photoshop. Currently, we are working on our finals assignment so we can show what we have learned so far, as it is the end of the year.
To the left is one of the projects we started to do going into our last unit of photoshop. This assignment was made to be a collage of a giraffe and a dolphin. I did this assignment by taking these two pictures and putting them together.
To the right is another collage that I had done, but with multiple ducks. In this assignment, I used adjustments to make the pictures of the ducks not so plain and would give a bit of contrast. At the end I put my name and what assignment this was as the final touches.
Below is my other assignments that I have done pretty recently. In these assignments that I created in photoshop, I took images and added to them of what we were currently learning. For example when we were learning about the tools in photoshop, the assignment was to use those tools in the photo to make it look different. After completing the work that needed to be done, I put text to show that it was my work and what assignment I had done it on.
To the left is one of the practice assignments I had done recently. Even though this was just practice, I put a lot of work into it. In this assignment, I cut out the tree that was recently in my other assignment above (038) and added it to anyone file.
After putting the tree into another file, I found a background that I thought would look good and decided to put the tree with that background to create a whole different image. I had to erase every line that I saw was from the original background. This was my final result when finishes!
As it is the end of the year, I have my finals in Tech Apps which include five major assignments. (040-045) All of these assignments add up to one grade at the end. 040 was my last typing test that I had on May 9, 041 is an email that I had sent to my future 7th grade teacher to show them what I had accomplished in some of my classes this year, 042 is a internet use guide, 043 is a travel budget where I can plan a trip for over three weeks, and 044 is a photoshop assignment where I can photoshop a eagle with Ed White in space. 045 is a end of year test, but put into two different parts. This test is our biggest test yet consisting with a total of 60 questions.
