Google Meet was recently activated within our MUSD Google Domain and allows students to use their Google login credentials similar to Google Classroom. Teachers have several features within Google Meet that allow them to manage their classroom in a virtual environment. Meets can be scheduled through Google Calendar, within Gmail, or through Google Classroom. Check out these resources from Google to see some innovative ways to use Google Meet!

Important Note: When using Google Meet, make sure that all of your students have exited the meeting before ending the meeting. Failure to do so, will allow your students to continue in the Meet without you. If you are recording the Meet, the Meet will continue to record after you have left. Note: All recorded Meets will be saved to your Google Drive.

One of the most convenient ways to start a Google Meet is through your Google Classroom. This is a new feature that allows teachers more control on starting Meets with their students.
