It was recently claimed on social media that before the last ruler of Egypt during the Ptolemaic Dynasty died; she remarked “no man will ever find my tomb”.

For centuries, archeologists have made jaw-dropping discoveries, some of them dated to 31 BC (more than 2,000 years ago), yet, no one had discovered the tomb of Queen Cleopatra and her husband Mark Antony. Cleopatra was the first woman to rule alone for a period of over a decade, showing incredible leadership and achieving her goals of economically boosting Egypt, and influencing Roman Politics.

Elizabeth Truss Resigns After Creating Lasting Damage to British Economy

The conservative membership vote elected Elizabeth Truss as Prime Minister on September 6, 2022. She now holds the record for the shortest tenure in Britain’s history. As Queen Elizabeth’s last act before her passing 2 days after the electoral votes, Liz Truss was asked to form a government in the late reign’s name as Britain's new prime minister representing the conservative party. Promising a new system for Britain that would hope to reap prosperous results.

I set out to write an article about Remembrance Day and found out that there is so much more to this day than you may know about. For each person this day means something different, depending on your culture, environment, etc. Each country has its own tradition involving this day, but all have the same history behind it; we commemorate those who fought so we could be here. We remember the ones that passed, the ones who fought during the war, and even those who didn’t fight but we personally lost, it's a day of reflection, remembrance as well as respect.
