St. Paul Panther Family,
We have had a great beginning of second quarter! I hope many of you are able to come to our awards ceremony on Friday.
As we enter into this quarter, we are also preparing for some students in November who are part of our Irish Traveler community. I wanted to explain this process for our new school families. The Irish Travelers have been a part of St. Paul Parish and School since the 1970s, and they have a cultural way of life that includes traveling for work in different parts of the country. The Irish Travelers live in Memphis from November to May; and from June to October, they ordinarily live in different parts of the country for work. In order to secure their child’s place in the classroom, the Irish Traveler families pay tuition all year long, even during the three months that their children are enrolled in other schools before they arrive at St. Paul in November. I believe that this shows their dedication to St. Paul School, and we look forward to welcoming them back to St Paul School on November 5th.
When the Irish Traveler students arrive, the teachers are ready, and we keep moving the students forward without lessening the academic rigor in the classroom.
God bless you, and be assured of my prayers for you!
In the Peace of Christ,
Sister Mary Lawrence, O.P.
Principal

FALL FESTIVAL 2025!
It is Fall Festival time! We are excited to host a fun event for our students! Do you want to participate? Please consider handing out candy at the Trunk-or-Treat (more information below) or signing up to help with a game, concession stand, or other fun station. Use this link to sign up: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1INYhjOXZrb1zuv6hsvrcbMH3P71gy24b/view?usp=drive_link. We are still in need of candy and snack cakes to make the day special!
All lunch orders are placed on your FACTS account by creating a "web order" and ordering specific meals.
Orders must be placed the day before. Students who are absent cannot receive a refund. You can call the school by 10:00 AM to let us know you are coming for the lunch, and we will have one ready at the office.
For specific instructions on how to order lunch, please click here for ENGLISH or SPANISH.
Chick-fil-A Day is Wednesday, October 29. Your order must be in by Monday, October 27. We cannot accept late orders because we place our order on Monday. Follow the lunch ordering procedures above to purchase your Chick-fil-A lunch.
Please put your child's name in all of his or her clothes. We especially need names in all jackets and sweaters so that we can return them to the right student. Many times students have switched jackets without knowing they don't have the right one. If your child is missing an item, please inform their teacher and the office. Thank you!
Students must be picked up at dismissal time. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, students should be picked up by 3:30 PM. Tuesday, students should be picked up by 2:30 PM. If your child is not picked up on time, thre is a $15 fee for the first 5 minutes, and then an additional $1 per minute is added. Our before, after care, and Y-Care cannot accept drop in students.
All students should be in the correct uniforms starting Tuesday, September 2. We are aware that some items have not arrived. Please keep your child's teacher updated about items that have not been delivered. For specific uniform information, please click HERE.
Please notify the school office if your student is going to be absent from school for any reason. The office will inform your child’s teacher about his or her absence.
For a school absence, please notify, Mrs. Mayra Gonzalez, mayra.gonzalez@stpaulsmemphis.com or 901-346-0862 (messages are ok).
Sick children should not attend school. Students who develop any of the following symptoms will be sent home immediately:

Parents, please read the information below from the school handbook about our tuition policy.
Tuition and Fees Information
Each year tuition prices are set by St. Paul Parish.
Tuition: In enrolling your child in a Catholic school, you agree to certain important responsibilities. One of these responsibilities is timely tuition payments. School budgets depend on regular tuition payments by the parents or guardians in order to pay for operating expenses.
Delinquent Tuition: PreK families pay weekly. If payments are behind by one week, the family will receive a letter from the School Business Office. The letter will notify parents that their tuition is past due and will request payment by a certain date. The letter will also explain that the child may not return to school if the payment is not paid by that date.
K-8 families pay monthly. If payments are behind by one month, the family will receive a letter from the School Business Office. The letter will notify parents that their tuition is past due and will request payment by a certain date. The letter will also explain that the child may not return to school if the payment is not paid by that date.
Parents are responsible for keeping their accounts current. Student records (including report cards) will not be released, if the parent still has financial obligations owed to the school.
Fees: All fees are nonrefundable.
Textbooks: Students will reimburse the school for loss of or damage to textbooks or electronic equipment.
Returned Checks: A charge is assessed for each insufficient check received. If insufficient checks are received more than twice, all further payments must be made in cash.
Financial assistance is available for qualifying students. Applications are completed through FACTS.
Scholarships, financial awards, and payment plans are confidential and should not be discussed with other St. Paul families. Sharing of confidential information can forfeit your award.
