CANNED FOOD NEEDED
Our 7th–8th graders need your help at the STEM event on Feb. 26 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Saint Paul has six teams registered. Students will compete in the Cans for Compassion engineering challenge, building structures from canned goods and essential items depicting a Work of Mercy, with all donations benefiting Catholic Charities of West Tennessee.
Donations for Cans for Compassion
Students especially need cans for their designs (please leave labels intact). We also welcome donations of additional non-perishable and essential items, including:
Canned goods (vegetables, soup, beans, fruit, etc.) — all sizes are usable, all colors are welcome but the kids are asking for white cans and black cans especially.
Soap and hygiene items
Toothbrushes
New socks
Any donation is appreciated—from three cans to three dozen cans. Our final day of planning and design is Wednesday, February 25th. Everything donated will go directly to supporting people in our community through Catholic Charities of West Tennessee.
Thank you for your support!
