Pōwhiri Welcome

On the first day of each term, we welcome our new learners, whānau (family) and staff with a pōwhiri.  A pōwhiri is a process whereby the host people welcome visitors onto the marae. At Stonefields School, a pōwhiri is used to welcome new learners, staff and their whānau into the school, as well as the wider community.
