After you meet with the residents individually to gather information, you will then e-mail them to schedule a mediation.
Hello, I am _________ the RA for Housing _______.
I am e-mailing to schedule a mediation to ensure that each resident has their voice heard while discussing ideas/solutions in a neutral environment with my self and RA _________ to create a livable environment. Please respond to this e-mail with dates and times you are availability this week.
If you need assistance at anytime, please utilize the resources below.
Below are a few ground rules to keep in mind before the meeting:
Please treat each other with respect, allowing each other the opportunity to present their ideas and solutions without being interrupted.
Please be prepared to discuss the main issues that are occurring in the apartment so that it can be addressed.
Please do not focus on things that did not work in the past, but instead, let’s focus on the future you all would like to create moving forward living together.
