Please use the Master Keys from Lakeside Lodge, A100, AC so that RAs can all run through their courts/rooms/apartments at the same time on Friday, May 6, 2022, directly after the banquet (soft checks only) Please ensure that all master keys are put back when checks are complete.
Inclusiviteam will assist the GHD of the area they are assigned and discuss with your GC for any additional expectations.
It is recommended that you ask any resident that you stumble upon what time they plan to leave on May 7, 2022. Any bed space that still had residents needs to be rechecked starting at 1 pm on May 7, 2022, by the graduating or non-returning RAs.
All RAs are expected to do another room check on Saturday, May 7, 2022, starting at 1 pm. All graduating RA’s are expected to work together to do all courts/rooms/apartments. After the RA retreat, RAs will follow up to confer on further expectations with your direct supervisor for assisting with room checks.
RAs MUST knock and announce themselves 3 times before entering ANY apartment.
Utilize the Google Sheet below to see any apartments with Summer Housing Residents, and note any apartments/rooms that failed to check out properly on the Google Sheet.
Any apartment with a Summer Housing Resident noted does not need their refrigerator/freezer checked, must check to ensure that other residents not approved for summer housing have/will successfully depart by noon on Saturday, May 7, 2022. If they are graduating they have until Saturday, May 14, 2022, by noon.
Anyone asking for an extended stay exception must be approved by connecting with Pro Staff.
Things to check in the room/apartments to make ensure the checkout requirements were met (this includes empty spaces as well):
Check that the bed, wardrobe, and desk are empty and clear
Trash taken out
Windows locked, window curtains open
Fridge/freezer empty of any perishable items (bottles of water, Gatorade, and condiments are okay. Dairy, meats, produce, and leftovers are not okay)
Lights off/electronics unplugged
Stove/oven off
If any belongings are left behind, please make a note of it so that GHD can follow up.
If on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at noon an apartment/room is still found to not have followed the checkout requirements, please email pictures and notes to HDamage@stockton.edu and CC your respective GHD.
Example:
If confirmed to have not followed the checklist, especially as it pertains to emptying the fridge/freezer, or garbage, please take a photo to document and attach it to an email to HDamage@stockton.edu complete with the room number “Housing 1 B30” as the subject and a note of the improper checkout concern in the body of the email along with a picture of the space.
RAs can be dismissed after the following have taken place and must notify the direct supervisor first:
Soft Room sweep walkthroughs on Friday, May 6, 2022
Full walkthroughs on May 7, 2022, starting at noon for first-year student side (Housing 2/3)
Full walkthroughs on May 14, 2022, starting at noon upperclassman (Housing 1 4/5/AC)
Note all improper check orders/damages are on the spreadsheet -Do not Submit work orders, just note them on the spreadsheet from the Operations team.
Any old program flyers, bulletin boards, or chalkboards are clean in your area
Completed all of their scheduled RA Duty responsibilities.
Express dismissal from GHD/AD. You cannot be dismissed unless you contact your direct supervisor and completed all requirements.
