Delegates will address the ongoing use of children in armed conflicts, focusing on preventing recruitment, supporting rehabilitation, and holding those responsible accountable. The discussion will also explore ways to tackle the root causes that make children vulnerable to armed groups.
Delegates will discuss the global challenge of ensuring quality education for all, highlighting its role in personal and national development. The debate will focus on how developed countries can support less developed ones and how international cooperation can make education a universal right, not a privilege.
Meet the Chairs
Hello Delegates! My name is Theodora Montagner and I am a sophomore at EAC. I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to head chair the Jr Political Council. I hope that this experience brings new knowledge and nurtures your experience in the world of MUN. I have always loved debate and law and POCO is exactly the place where all delegates can be equally respectful while debating some of the most important solutions to current worldwide issues. I wish that all of you can fructify from this experience and learn more about how the world operates and how the decisions that you all will debate about can effect everything.
