Meet the Chairs
Hello delegates, my name is Thiago Simonetti, I currently study at Beacon School, and I will be the head-chair for the Historical Security Council committee. As an inspiring diplomat, I have a profound passion for MUN as I wholeheartedly believe it is a great opportunity for us, the youth, to get ready to actively engage in modern day politics. MUN has been a wonderful experience for me as it allowed me to befriend amazing people and connect with many others. Outside of conferences, I enjoy playing the drums and listening to music. I hope to see you all in the conference!
My name is Érico Arnoni and I’m a Year 11 at St. Francis College. I am passionate about numerous political and social issues and adore arguing with people, which drove me to join my school’s MUN program 3 years ago. As part of MUN, I have attended numerous conferences, and now serve as Deputy-Secretary of Debate. I am also an aspiring screenwriter/filmmaker and a certified nerd. I am excited to get to know you all as Co-Chair of the Historical Security Council, which will be my first chairing assignment at an external conference.
