8th Grade

The 8th graders journeyed through many eras of music so far this year from Medieval to 20th century. This past week, we delved into the Beatles and their profound influence on society as a whole. The students watched a BBC documentary on a Beatles musical analysis and appreciation by Howard Goodall while answering questions and engaging in discussion. We talked about early vs. late Beatles style, how they incorported different cultures into their music, and observed their unique and innovative recording techniques in the studio.
