We are going to write our own diary entry based on the story of Chocolate Planet. We have had a look at a good example to see what we could recreate.

Adding a part to a story

In English this term, we are looking at the story of Baba Yaga and the Black Geese. The children have written their own part of the story, thinking about the authors style of writing and how they could do the same. 

Nouns and verbs

Today we thought about the things a sentence needs and sorted them into two piles - what is a sentence, and what isn't a sentence. The children were great at this. It would be a brilliant thing to practice at home if you get chance!
