St. Mary's College Choral Society

St. Mary’s College Choral Society — fondly known as the Parents' Choir — meets in the Senior School every Wednesday evening from 7.30–9.30 p.m. We have been together almost three years, with 36 members to date.

We sing at some of the school Masses, fundraisers, parents social evenings, etc, as well as some carol singing for charity.

We love to have a go at new things, from a summertime flashmob in Dartmouth Square, where we sang the Hallelujah chorus from 'Messiah', along with several other choirs from around Dublin, to a live ad for WiMax in the snow from the arctic Dublin Docklands. Much to the mortification of our sons, it’s now up on YouTube!

If you think that this is for you, why not come along to a couple of rehearsals and see what you think. No pressure, of course, but be aware: once you start, it’s very difficult to stop!
