3/30 During our school year we have created artwork using a wide variety of materials. Now we are all staying safe in our homes and aren't able to use many of our supplies at school.
That's OKAY! While we are home we have some of the most important things we need to make art, our CREATIVE MINDS and plenty of TIME. We learned this year that we can make art using recycled materials (cardboard, newspaper, TP rolls, scrap paper). Look around your home for items that you can make art with.
Our Art Show has been postponed but I am working on a way to put your amazing work up on a digital site, so that we can all see the beautiful pieces that you created.
Stay healthy and if you need to contact me, please have your parents email me.

4/8 Dear Families,
I hope that you are taking good care and keeping yourselves safe. Students, if you remember last year we participated in the Ocean challenge. Together we raised almost $1700 dollars to help with ocean clean-up and recovery. This year STUDENTS REBUILD is hosting The HUNGER CHALLENGE. I invite you to work with me to digitally submit art work to raise donations that will help combat hunger throughout the world. Each submission would normally raise $3 but during the COVID-19 crisis each submission will raise $6! If you can email a photo of work that you create at home, I will send it in to Students Rebuild. Please check out the site, I will be asking each grade for specific assignments starting next week.
