For this assignment we had to choose a person as a host for a television show. My group had to decide between two people. We read why they thought they should be the host and looked on their social media. We looked for their honesty and dishonesty. After reading and discussing about their websites we chose a person for the television show. I think one way that I could change my digital footprint is to not give out my last name or where I live. I also wouldn't post anything inappropriate that can be used against me when I am applying for a job. I wouldn't post anything that someone else could repost and use against me in the future. I would hope that people would find a good recommendation about me from one of my teachers or see how much I have accomplished. I think that people could be turned down from a job because of what people had seen on social media. Someone could be applying to cook in a restaurant and an employee from the restaurant comes across their social media account. On that account they see that they don't have any cooking experience. That employee could go to the manager and that person wouldn't get the job. If I was applying for my dream job I would want that company to see good reviews, accomplishments that I have achieved and how I take responsibility seriously.
