Micro:bit

This assignment we had a Micro:bit. We made two programs with the Micro:bit. One was our name or our name with hello world behind it. The second one was an emoji. We would make make a happy face and a sad face. If you push a specific button the smile would show and if push the other button the sad face would show. If you pushed both of the buttons at the same time then both of them would appear. The input was the coding that we gave it and the output was when it showed us that coding.

For this assignment we had to program our Micro:bit to sense light and make a sound when it senses light. When we programmed our Micro:bit littles would increase when there was light and when there was a little light it would decrease. To make the sound work you needed two alligator clips to connect the Micro:bit to your headphones. I thought this assignment was difficult because it was very confusing trying to program everything but it was fun because I got code a Micro:bit.

This assignment was about a Micro:bit that had to make something function. Elly and I were planning on making an inchworm. We tried a couple times but they didn't work as we planned. Instead of an inchworm we did a sending and receiving thing. Elly would send me something like if she pressed B a sad face and when she pressed A it would send me a smiley face and if she pressed both buttons it would send me a heart. We did a video on it that showed the product. I thought this was difficult because all of the wires and cutting, and folding were really annoying. It was fun because I got to spend time with my friend and work together as a team.
