Last Thursday the 19 th of January 2023, the company La Maquineta came to the Preschool(infantil) to perform the story of “The little Mouse” in English.

We prepared the story beforehand in English class with the children by reading the story and practicing songs, role playing, painting and pointing.

The performance was very entertaining and we enjoyed every moment of it. The two actors were very professional and their portrayal of the characters was excellent. We were all able to live the story through the interactive experience by watching, singing and making the little public participation.

This is the story of The Little Mouse: the little clever Mouse found three coins when she was sweeping with her broom Wendolin and went to the shop to buy something with her coins. At the shop the seller offered her a book, a brush and a ribbon.

Afterwards she asked the children to help her tidy up her clothes in her wardrobe and also towater her 8 plants because she wanted to have a clean and nice home.

She was now so pretty with her new bow on her tail that lots of animals came to speak with her because the wanted to marry her: the running Dog, the vain Rooster, the dirty Pig, the musician Monkey and the pilot Dog .

Some children were able to go into the scenery and help the little mouse to get pretty. 

At the end the little mouse fell in love with a clever mouse who liked poetry. They shared their hobbies and she gave him a present: her cheese painting. Behind the painting they gave each other a kiss. They decided not to get married, at least not before travelling around the world

En la missió d'aprofundir i potenciar el multilingüisme des de l'escola i gràcies al conveni signat amb Academica Corporation –la principal institució escolar i educativa dels EUA i creadora del programa internacional de doble titulació Diploma Dual- oferim als nostres alumnes la possibilitat de cursar el DIPLOMA DUAL "BATXILLERAT DUAL AMERICÀ” ”– a partir del curs vinent, 2022-2023.     

Aquest programa de doble titulació de Batxillerat espanyol i d'Estats Units  s'ha implementat per als alumnes a partir de 2n d'ESO i ha tingut una molt bona rebuda pel nostre alumnat. Per tant, gràcies a aquest programa, els alumnes que ho desitgin estaran matriculats a l'escola i, simultàniament, en una High School als Estats Units, cursant ambdós estudis alhora. 

This year the students of 1st of ESO have made some delicious recipes such as desserts, cakes, biscuits, sushi... First we had to write the recipe and then we had to record a video. 

We felt like real influencers recording and editing these videos (maybe someone should upload them on their social media, the videos are so cool!).  We had a lot of fun making these amazing videos and we hope that you like them too! 

Malahide, Irlanda. Setembre del 2022

Malahide és una petita localitat situada a poc més d’una hora de Dublín, a Irlanda, Aquest bonic racó del món ha estat el lloc escollit per l’escola per realitzar l’Estada lingüística d’aquest any, un programa pensat per ajudar-nos a conèixer més la cultura irlandesa, practicar i millorar la llengua anglesa.

Més d’un de nosaltres, estudiants que comencem aquest any 4t d’ESO i 1r de Batxillerat, hem estat tot l’estiu plantejant-nos com seria aquesta estada, esperant aquesta oportunitat de viatjar i conèixer quelcom nou.

I la veritat és que ha estat una gran oportunitat. En total, han estat set dies intensos, compartint el dia a dia amb una família irlandesa, aprenent la seva cultura i manera de viure. Acostumant-nos a la seva gastronomia i horaris tan diferents als nostres…

Han estat dies de treball a classe, aprenent amb un professor nadiu sobre l’idioma, l’anglès, i sobretot han estat dies que hem gaudit amb els companys i companyes d’una experiència única.

Hem aconseguit fer un grup únic. Un equip entre professors i alumnes. Hem fet d’aquest viatge tota una gran aventura que ens quedarà sempre a la memòria.
