5th and 6th Class Kindness Activity Menu
*Please try to do this meditation to set a kind, positive and calming atmosphere at the beginning of the day. We recommend breathing in and out slowly 3 times prior to your activity*.
Here are your 10 suggestions, please try to do 1 or 2:
1. Kindness Rainbow Sheet (see Twinkl) – be the Rainbow Challenge. Write a kind thing to do per day for the week.
2. Posters – theme: Choose Kindness. Have a positive kindness message on them for the classroom door.
3. Poem
4. Kindness mailbox – kind notes in the box for pupils to pick out and read after homework is taken down.
5. Kindness Bucket – similar to mailbox where they pick out a kind message that is written on a post-it.
6. Kindness Confetti – all children write a kind note on a post-it, go outside, throw it in the air and children pick up a different note and read it.
7. Kind messages/affirmation/quotes written in chalk in yards.
8. Mindful Colouring
9. Journaling – writing 10 kind things to themselves/how they feel after Kindness Week.
10. Read a book/picture book on the them of Kindness.
11. Create a Kindness class quilt using paper with Kindness slogans on it.
