I am thrilled to be starting my 20th year in teaching and my 17th here at SJS! I am a Maryland State certified teacher, and hold an Advanced Professional Certificate in music. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in music and a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in music education, both from Mount St. Mary's University. I love to spend my days in the classroom and love our wonderful school community!
Outside of school, I am married and have 2 very active kids, Dylan and Zoe. I love to read, travel, and spend time with my family. We spend a lot of time at softball, baseball or piano lessons. This summer my family went on an Alaskan cruise, and we had the best time exploring and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Some of my favorite things are the color purple, the Orioles, Penn State football, Dunkin coffee, Star Wars and pandas!
