I am thrilled to be starting my 21th year in teaching and my 18th here at SJS! I am a Maryland State certified teacher, and hold an Advanced Professional Certificate in music. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in music and a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in music education, both from Mount St. Mary's University. I love to spend my days in the classroom and love our wonderful school community!
Outside of school, I am married and have 2 very active kids, Dylan and Zoe. I love to read, travel, and spend time with my family. We spend a lot of time at softball, baseball or piano lessons. This summer my family went to the beach and took a lake vacation. Some of my favorite things are the color purple, the Orioles, Penn State football, Dunkin coffee, Star Wars and pandas!
I can't wait to start making music and exploring new technology skills with you this year!
