Power School is our district's Student Information System (SIS) and where all student demographic and academic data is housed.
At the elementary level, grades are not posted in PowerSchool until the end of each trimester. Parents should still register for the PowerSchool Portal, however, so contact information can be updated.
In grades 6-12, student grades are posted and updated regularly in PowerSchool and are visible to parents via the PowerSchool Parent Portal. See the directions below for setting up and accessing the ParentPortal.

In addition to the PowerSchool Parent Portal for grades, SJPS utilizes School Messenger for communicating important information with parents. These communications may be in the form of email, text, or phone calls.
It is very important that you update your contact information and preference in Power School so that SJPS can reach you with these messages.
