Chromebooks are a school-provided tool and should be used for school assignments.
Chromebooks will travel back and forth to school in backpacks. Do NOT put water bottles in backpacks!
Make sure to charge your Chromebook nightly so that it is fully charged for your school day. Power supply cords should be left at home in a safe place for nightly charging.
Stickers and other decorative items are not permitted on Chromebooks.
Keep food and drinks away from Chromebooks.
Pencils, pens, and other sharp objects should be kept away from Chromebook screen.
Chromebooks must be kept out of extreme temperatures - Do not leave them in cars for long periods of time.
When carrying your Chromebook, always use close the cover and use two hands. Never lift the Chromebook by the screen.
When opening your Chromebook, make sure it is on a flat surface such as a desk or table. To open the Chromebook, use one hand to hold the keyboard against the table. Use the other hand to open the screen by grasping the screen’s edge (in the middle) and gently moving the screen to the open position.
Before closing the screen, make sure there is nothing on the keyboard to prevent the full closure of the device.
