Your Training Path
Induction: You’ll receive initial safeguarding training when you join.
Basic Training: All volunteers complete basic safeguarding training, refreshed every 3 years.
Role-Specific Learning: Additional training is provided if your role requires it.
Specialised Roles
Safeguarding Leads & Deputies: Complete advanced training every 2 years.
Board of Trustees: Complete specialist oversight training every 3 years.
Note: We actively provide children and adults with care needs clear information on how to get help regarding abuse, bullying, or discrimination.
Additional safeguarding training is also available through trusted online providers such as thirtyone:eight, which supplies CPD-accredited courses, interactive webinars, and practical guidance.
