What is Safeguarding?
Safeguarding is everything we do to protect people’s safety, health, and well-being. It’s more than just a set of rules or a policy document; it’s a culture of care that runs through everything we do as a church family. Safeguarding means:
Protecting children and adults at risk from abuse, neglect, or harm.
Preventing harm by ensuring our leaders, volunteers, and spaces are vetted, trained, and accountable.
Creating a culture where everyone feels respected, valued, and listened to.
Responding swiftly and compassionately whenever concerns are raised.
Whether we are running kids' groups, gathering in small groups, or serving our local community across Stirling, safeguarding ensures that everyone can belong and thrive safely.
