Our Term 1 & 2 Newsletter is here! Take a look at all the exciting learning happening in Primary 7.
Welcome to our Primary 7 class blog! We are a class of 20 vibrant, creative learners, each with our own unique blend of abilities and interests. As you enter our classroom, you will hear us chatting (we’re almost always chatting!) while we work. You will see our beautiful artwork on display.
Many of us have been in the class for several years so we have strong bonds of friendship. We are big buddies to the Primary 1 pupils this year and that sure keeps us busy!
This will be a big year for us: not only do we have our Leavers in June before we move to high school, but we also have three days at Dalguise outdoor adventure centre in October, and we will be writing our very own autobiography throughout the year. We will be busy with our Pupil Parliament roles as well as squaddies during break times.
Our Victorian school is situated on part of an extinct volcano in the heart of historic Stirling, just steps from Stirling Castle. Our back playground forms part of the mediaeval city walls and includes the Bastion. Stirling’s archaeologist may soon be leading an excavation of the Bastion and we hope it happens this year.
We are a multinational, multi-ethnic class. Most of us hail from Scotland, but also from Nepal, Germany, Thailand, Afghanistan, Poland, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Greece and the Philippines.
This will be a busy year but we’re ready for the challenge. #Bringiton!
