Good morning! I hope you are both well. Please find below the P1 class blog, I will get this put in the picture frame for the reception area today.

Introducing the wonderful Primary 1 class. 

We are a class of 17 incredible learners, with our teacher Miss Simmons and our Support for Learning Assistant Miss Fife.

Our strong, little team are eager, independent and skilled learners who are always looking for opportunities for creativity, learning and autonomy! 

We all have our own precious strengths and interests that make us the most amazing class family, and we are able to inspire and support those around us. 

We have learner-led ethos, mixed with play-based approaches that balance ‘Teacher Time’ and  ‘Curiosity Time’, seeking opportunities to explore the school's 5C's, new skills and play together (both indoors and outdoors). 

Our classroom is a relaxing and learner-led space that we are always looking to enhance and nurture, this will continue to develop over the year with learner interests. Our class promise ensures that we always reach for the stars and do our best, whilst having fun!

Within our class charter, we continue to celebrate the phrase:  “You’ve got a friend in me!”, inspired by Toy Story. 

In Primary 1, we always celebrate our love for friendships and sticking together. We show kindness, respect and love to all that we meet, and we are able to link this to our knowledge of the UNCRC rights.
