Homework Corner
Parents, I am a veteran high school math teacher and will be working hard to do the best for your son/daughter. Go back and read the Teacher Bio on the math page for a better understanding of my background. More important, please email me jmagee@stgab.org, if you have any questions.
IMPORTANT: Mr. Magee is always ready to provide after school help in small group settings. I am usually available 3 or 4 days per week. If you would like an individual session that can be arranged also.

KHAN ACADEMY
We will use Khan Academy a lot each student should have an account under their school email
If they have another Khan account they can change to their school email. www.khanacademy.org
----KHANMIGO
There is a new service on Khan Academy. An AI component that helps students. I have just briefly looked at it but it looks good. There is a cost, but I think it is easy to get a coupon for a free month. For those of you who help sometimes with homework it might also be good for you.
TEXTBOOKS --- Students will be creating a 2 year binder of materials that I expect to be used as a quick reference in their high school years.
You will need the following for this course:
Binder with 6 Dividiers (1.5" Binder is suggested)
Good Math Student Attitude
Materials always available in class
* Pencils
* Paper, Including Graph Paper
* Ruler/Straight Edge
* A set of Graphing Calculators for classroom use
Students destroying class material will have real consequences
