Math
Teacher Bio
I kind of feel that I grew up and became more of who I am today because I had a great 8th Grade Teacher, David Winkler, at St. Dominic Savio.
I was always one of the best students in math in grade school, but Mr. Winkler taught me to challenge myself and become a better student. He knew instinctively that although I was doing great in math, I was not using most of my talents.
I was directed to an Engineering degree and was an Engineer with McDonnell Douglas for almost 10 years. A notice in the bulletin got me to sign up to be a CYC Coach. My evenings as a Coach, soon became my joy and I immediately took steps to follow my passion and become a teacher.
I have taught at Nerinx Hall, Saint Louis Priory, North Tech, and Soldan International School and Loyola Academy.
I am quite familiar with what your child needs to know for their high school years, and my goal is to illuminate the path they will take.
I am always ready to talk with parents or students. I am a math teacher/problem solver. Let me know what the problem is and I will help your child solve it.
If you are really curious who I am, I have pages and words from my experiences in Uganda.
