Spanish-speaking Country of the Week: Bolivia!
Grades K-1: Students are asking and answering how each other are doing. They are learning to state colors they like and do not like in Spanish. They are learning about Spanish speaking countries, specifically Bolivia.
Grades 2- 5: Students are learning about Bolivia and the new species of wild cat discovered in the region. They are continuing to make dialogues in Spanish with greetings and farewells.

Grades K-1: Students are continuing to state colors they like and do not like using "me gusta" and "no me gusta."
Grades 2-5: Students are writing dialogues of "saludos y despedidas" and are playing games in class to practice new vocabulary.

Grades 2-5: What are languages and why are they important to learn? Students are learning the answers to these questions, including what it means to be monolingual, bilingual, trilingual, quadrilingual, and multilingual. They will learn cognates and play games.
