As we approach the culmination of this eventful season with Spring Formal and Convocation on the horizon, we're excited to announce one of the most anticipated gatherings of the year - our Alumni Event. This event offers a unique opportunity for you to connect with alumni from various industries, providing valuable insights and networking opportunities.

What makes this year's Alumni Event particularly special is the inclusion of current students and alumni from Duke Kunshan University's graduate programs. With their diverse backgrounds in Management Studies, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Global Health, Environmental Policy, and Medical Physics, we anticipate dynamic conversations filled with fascinating experiences and insights.

Our adventure begins along the iconic Bund of Shanghai, a captivating blend of history and modernity that treats you to stunning cityscape vistas. As we wander through the Bund's exotic building clusters, you'll immerse yourself in a symphony of cultures that define this exceptional city. And the excitement doesn't stop there – our journey will also lead us to the intriguing Shanghai Postal Museum, where the evolution of communication comes to life in fascinating ways. In case of rain, we have a captivating alternative awaiting us – the extraordinary China Art Museum. 

Capture your professional presence and prepare for your future success at the portrait-taking session on Tuesday, September 12th. The professional portrait can be used for the Fall Career Fair, internship, and career recruitment, and will also be featured in the graduation brochure. We will share more information about the photo portrait session during the orientation.

We invite you to join each other to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival 🌕 together! Come enjoy snacks, NYU Shanghai customized mooncakes, fun activities like touhu and lantern DIY, and most importantly the time spent with each other! You'll also have opportunities to meet students and faculty from different graduate programs.

6:30pm-7:30pm: Panelist Discussion with Featured Alumni moderated by Jerry Liu, MSOMS cohort leader (Room E302)

7:30pm-8:30pm: Networking Mixer with Alumni and Current Students (East Hall 3rd Floor) - Light food and drink will be provided.

The event will feature five alumni (please see their bios here) who will share their experiences during the program and building their professional careers since graduation. You will also have the opportunity to network one-on-one with alumni coming from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise during the networking mixer starting at 7:30pm.

DIY your own postcard! You can draw; you can write a cut-up poem (message) with outdated posters and magazines; you can stamp the postcard with QILIN emojis. Or you can just come to get a postcard designed by the Office of Graduate and Advanced Education!
