BEFORE YOU ARRIVE IN NYC: Complete the following tasks!
Activate your NYU email and Stern email.
Set up email forwarding between NYU and Stern accounts.
Set up NYU Virtual Private Network (VPN)
IMPORTANT: Apply for a US visa or transfer your I-20 (if non US citizen) ASAP.
Complete Student Background Intro Form by Friday, May 12.
Submit your health and immunization forms to the Student Health Center Portal by Monday, May 15.
Pay your summer bill by Thursday, May 18 (sent via email to your Stern email). Check here for international payment methods if you do not have a US bank account.
Upload a photo to be used on your NYU ID Card
Complete Plagiarism Tutorial (use Stern email to login)
COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster: Effective May 11, NYU will end the COVID-19 vaccination requirement for all community members. Therefore, you no longer need to upload proof of your COVID vaccine to the Student Health Center Portal.
However, please note that the US government still requires non-US citizens and nonimmigrants to be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination for air travel to enter the country. Please review the information here to determine if you are considered fully vaccinated. If you meet the requirement, a booster dose is not needed.
AFTER YOU ARRIVE IN NYC: Complete the following by Wednesday, May 31.
Pick up your NYU Card at NYU Washington Square Card Center BEFORE ORIENTATION.
Download Google Maps, City Mappers, Wechat (recommended)
Get familiar with Brightspace, NYU's Learning Management System
