Chris is Chief Executive Officer for the Ogilvy Group in APAC and Greater China, with responsibilities for the strategic development and daily operations of the agency across 15 markets. He is a member of Ogilvy’s Worldwide Executive Leadership Board and is also a Global Client Leader for WPP, overseeing global key client relationships across WPP.
In 2022, under Chris’s leadership, Ogilvy was named Campaign Asia-Pacific’s Greater China Creative, PR and Integrated Agency of the Year, and also won the prestigious Network of the Year recognition in APAC for the second consecutive year. In 2017, he was named Asia Pacific Agency Head of the Year. Ogilvy was the first agency in China to win a Grand Prix in Cannes and has been consistently one of the most awarded agencies in Asia.
Over the last two decades Chris has held several senior management positions in various offices within the Ogilvy Group, running local offices, regional and worldwide clients and regional units such as Ogilvy & Mather Advertising.
Chris is currently Chairman of the Effie Asia Pacific Council. He is an active investor in the Chinese internet scene and sits on several boards. He is currently an independent Board Member of Babytree (1761.HK), a Supervisory Board member of windeln.de (WDL.DE) and an advisor to WGI (wgihq.org), an NGO focusing on international education.

Steven is a China marketing veteran for over 25 years. Steven was one of the founders of the first 4As Advertising Media Agency, Zenithmedia, in China. Steven became the CEO of ZenithOptimedia Greater China and was one of the most sorted New Media experts. Steven joined Tencent in 2014 overseeing all advertising sales, including launching the WeChat Moment advertising, DMO, Programmatic, Smart Retail, and Private Domain marketing. Steven was the China MMA Chairman helping to drive the China standard of mobile advertising. Steven is currently running his own consultancy and training business and is an External Senior Advisor at McKinsey. Steven has been a close friend of NYUSH where he is an Admission Committee member of NYU Stern SH.
