Job Search

After you are on board, we will use Handshake (NYU Career Service Platform) for scheduling coaching appointments to better support you to start your professional career journey.

• GF Assessment is a platform that provides unlimited access to 150+ assessments that you may come across during the recruitment process, including: Industry based test recommendations; Ability Tests (Numerical, Logical, Verbal Reasoning, and more); Game-based Assessments.

• Hiration is an interactive, 24/7 virtual resume review assistant. At any time, you can create or upload your resume to Hiration, and receive instant tips and personalized feedback for how to revise and strengthen your resume. Moreover, you can also tailor your resume through pasting the job description in the system and getting targeted resume review information. Using HIRATION before coming to our Walk-in Hours will allow you to maximize the time in your in-person meeting. 

• GoinGlobal and Interstride are two valuable career preparation websites that provide comprehensive resources for finding jobs and internships both locally and internationally, including work visa information. These two platforms update job postings daily and offer access to over 16 million opportunities in multiple languages in total. You can also explore more than 450,000 corporate profiles across 196 countries to connect with potential employers.

• Forage offers access to 20+ industry-specific virtual job simulations. You can complete real-world tasks designed by top companies, enhancing your skills and gaining valuable experience. 

• Vault provides students with career guides, employer profiles and rankings, discussion boards, industry blogs and news. You can utilize this platform to discover great  job opportunities, know more about industries and find the right career path.
