Cohort leaders will represent the interests of the students from the joint Master's programs. They will play a key role in fostering class cohesion and act as liaisons between students and faculty/staff. They are responsible for organizing cohort events and are dedicated to supporting their peers throughout the year.
Cohort leaders should have strong communication and leadership skills. Primary responsibilities will include:

Time Commitment:
The cohort leader position is for the entire AY2025-2026 academic year.
Cohort leaders are expected to commit 2-3 hours per month for this position.
No compensation is provided.
Cultural Immersion Experiences: Host events that showcase local culture and traditions. You could organize visits to cultural landmarks, dinners featuring local cuisine, or talks with local experts about business in the area.
Skill-Building Sessions: Facilitate workshops and development opportunities.
Community Engagement and Volunteering: Plan events that give back to the local community, such as volunteering initiatives or social impact projects, which can also strengthen team-building and leadership skills.
Social and Recreational Activities: Organize informal gatherings like dinners, movie nights, or outdoor activities. This helps students relax, build friendships, and create a sense of community.
Note that a small budget will be provided for cohort leaders to organize events. Events that do not further the cohort’s cohesion or skill development will not receive funding from the Operations team.
Cohort leaders are elected by their peers during the first month of the program.
