Time Sensitive Tasks
Please pay special attention to these time-sensitive tasks and complete them by the deadline listed.
If you have any questions, please check out the FAQ's or email the Operations team.
Please activate BOTH your NYU email and Stern email. These are two separate email accounts and you will receive emails to both addresses. Please start checking your inbox regularly.
You will also need to set up email forwarding between NYU and Stern accounts. This way you only need to check one inbox going forward.
If you are not a US citizen or legal permanent resident, please apply for a US student visa or transfer your I-20 as soon as possible.
We strongly recommend that you start the visa application immediately to avoid any delays or complications that could jeopardize your start to the program.
Please note that it is against US immigration policy to travel to the US on a tourist visa if your intention is to study.
Read here for more information on navigating US immigration and customs shared by the Office of Global Services (OGS).
Please follow the instructions to complete the summer housing application for a single room or shared room in NYU's Palladium Hall by Friday, April 18. Click here to review more housing information for group participants and the housing FAQ.

If you do not want to live in Palladium Hall, please start research off campus housing options. (See more below)
For MSQF/MSOMS/MSMRS students, please sign up for Bootcamp in R by the deadline if you are interested.
Note that MSDABC students will be automatically enrolled in the bootcamp.
Pay your summer bill by Tuesday, May 13 (sent via email to your Stern email the week of April 21). Check here for international payment methods if you do not have a US bank account.
Submit your health and immunization forms to the Student Health Center Portal by Thursday, May 15.
Complete the background intro form by Friday, May 16 so we can learn about you and provide support.
Upload a photo to be used on your NYU ID Card. Then, collect your NYU ID Card upon arrival to New York before Orientation by May 28. You will not be able to enter the Stern building without your NYU ID card so you must pick it up beforehand.

Please also complete the following tasks before your arrival.
