CCD is dedicated to helping you navigate the career exploration process throughout your master's program. To help you stay on track for career planning, we suggest a career timeline with three phases.
Phase I: Clarify Career Path
12-month graduation timeline: June 2025 - August 2025
20-month graduation timeline: June 2025 - November 2025
By participating in self-assessment, one-on-one coaching, and Career-Readiness Development Program (CRDP) events in Phase I, you will be able to explore career options, identify your career path, enhance career readiness skills, and develop industry knowledge. Your resume will be polished under the discussion with CCD staff and later shared with selected NYU employer partners.
Phase II: Develop Career Competencies
12-month graduation timeline: September 2025 - January 2026
20-month graduation timeline: December 2025 - August 2026
From the beginning till the end of the Phase II, you will focus on enhancing career competencies by increasing industry knowledge, developing core hard and soft skills, and improving interview performance.
Phase III: Achieve Career Goal
12-month graduation timeline: February 2026 - May 2026
20-month graduation timeline: September 2026 - January 2027
In Phase III, CCD will continue to support all of you, whether you are still seeking employment or are ready to step into the workplace through resources like employer recruitment events and professional networking activities. Throughout the program, CCD Team will always be with you every step of your way to your ideal career!
