Apply for Spring 2026 Boodle Box faculty pilot to try a multi-LLM tool & compare AI models.
The Teaching, Learning, and Technology Roundtable (TLTR) is excited to announce a pilot program for BoodleBox, an enterprise-level, multi-Large Language Model (LLM) tool, designed to support faculty in integrating Generative AI into their teaching and learning practice. We are seeking interested faculty with demonstrated AI expertise to join us in exploring the curricular and pedagogical potential of this tool, by running a limited student pilot in the Spring 2026 semester.
Your participation is crucial to helping the university make informed decisions about future AI tools. The student pilots will:
Support Curricular and Pedagogical Consideration: Help faculty explore the impact of AI on current assignments and course design.
Support Teaching AI to Students: Evaluate how Boodle Box can be used to help students learn to use AI responsibly and critically.
Evaluate Enterprise Potential: Gather essential data to determine the potential of Boodle Box as a campus-wide tool.
Provide Equitable Tool Access: Provide students with access to the same tool with access to paid LLM models to ensure equitable learning opportunities
Streamline Instruction: Offer students streamlined instruction based on the same, known generative AI platform.
Unlimited use of an AI Assistant for simulation or other learning support
Design and creation of an AI Assistant based on course content
Use of a variety of LLMs for collaborative creation with generative AI
Collaboration features (group folders and chats) for group projects
See the BoodleBox Use Case Library for inspiration on student-AI collaboration
View any of the BoodleBox Quick Start Videos or Instructor’s Guide to get step-by-step instructions around the use of BoodleBox.
Spring 2026 course
Existing AI assignment, AI-based learning activity, or clear idea for use
Commitment to survey students on their experience.
In-class training for students on how to use the tool.
Clear timeline for use
Demonstrated faculty expertise for using generative AI. Experience teaching AI preferred.
TLTR can support at least 200 student seats for the Spring 2026 semester from remaining funds for the Technology for Innovative Learning & Teaching Pilot Project Grants. Instructional Technology staff will work with faculty to assign licenses and coordinate use. Depending on timeline for student use, additional student seats may be available.
Idea Submission Form: Boodle Box Student Course Pilot Idea (Spring 2026)
Due to the short timeline, TLTR is looking for ideas rather than well-developed plans. You will be asked to rate your expertise in using and teaching AI and provide basic information about your course, including projected enrollment.
This form includes the following longer form questions:
Expected Student Use: How will BoodleBox be used? Describe specific assignments or learning activities. (150 words)
Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs): What specific learning outcomes do you intend to assess related to BoodleBox use?
Evaluation Plans: How will you measure the success of this pilot for your purposes? (150 words)
