Hillhops is an award-winning annual event on the St. Edward's University campus that provides an opportunity for students, faculty, and members of the public to learn about the Texas Craft Brewing scene, browse the archives, network with industry pros, and taste a few brews.

Event Time: January 22, 2026 (4:30p.m.-8:00p.m.)
Location: Munday Library on the St. Edward's University Campus (3001 S. Congress Ave.)
Tickets: Tickets are not required and pre-registration is not necessary. The event is free and open to the public.
Parking: FREE. Event Attendees should use this link, https://vpermit.com/stedwards/ClaimableEvents/Claim, and enter their information and the claim code: BEER . Once you have filled out the information and clicked the “Start” button you will receive confirmation that you have registered for event parking. Education with Flavor
This celebration of Texas craft brewing history gives St. Edward's students and members of the Austin community an opportunity to hear from featured speakers who are experts in their field as well as a chance to network with a wide assortment of professionals from the Texas brewing industry. Topics range from the science of brewing and agriculture to the art of business management and marketing.
Archives on Display
During Hillhops items from the Texas Craft Brewing Collections are on display and the Tocker Reading Room of Munday Library is open to visitors who wish to see more of St. Edward's University's Archives.
Career Building
Each year craft brewers and related agencies from around the State of Texas are invited to the Hilltop to network with students and faculty. During the event they are encouraged to share opportunities for research, internships, and experiential learning within their businesses.
